Problems with using PU foam
Nowadays many plumbers do not use plaster which is designed for pipes - most use PU foam. This creates a big problem because when unscrewing an angle valve, stress is created and naturally the weld cracks because there is nothing to hold it. That is why pipes are plastered - when plaster is applied, it holds the end fitting firmly so you can unscrew and screw on whatever you want as many times as you want without any damage.
